We switched our attention from houses to apartments, condos and town houses. We did this because, well, the houses we applied to we didn't get, and the ones that we could have gotten on the spot had one or more things wrong with them, 'deal breakers' we call them. It's OK though. There are two places we saw just yesterday that we would be very happy to get. One is a huge condo in a really nice building and the other is a town house. Both are great places and we are filling out applications right now. After seeing roughly 5 houses, 6 apartments, several condos and town houses, I am ready to find a place I can call my home base. We should know sometime next week. I don't know how much longer I can stand sleeping on this couch. It's putting quite the strain on my body and mind for that matter. I feel like a squatter, or a visitor who won't leave. Lets hope this is the week all my dreams come true and I move into my own place!
