The Sky is Black

I was on the boat listening to a local FM station when the National Weather Emergency something or other interrupted the crappy song playing and told everyone on the lake to get inside. They weren't kidding. Not ten minutes after that warning the sky turned black, so I booked it home. Apparently southern NH has a tornado warning, lightening storms, the whole deal. Good thing I wasn't far from home. It's pouring rain and windy now, haven't seen any tornado's but I kind of want to, as long as they stay on the lake and don't come to shore.

In other news, my plans of moving to LA and pursuing a career as a Hollywood agent are finally coming together. After some conversations with my friends and mentor in the business, I have made the decision to take one last trip out west before I move for good. I will be leaving August 31st and my stay will be open ended. If all goes to plan I should be granted at least two interviews at the two agencies I'm hoping to work for, but if not, at least I will be close enough to knock on their doors and harass them until they agree to see me. I am fairly confident that this plan will work out. I will have more information within the next few days.

I'm hoping the weather will get better as I have family coming to visit tomorrow and the lake is every one's reason for coming. I like to think it's because my company is so valuable, but I'm pretty sure it's the majestic, serenity of this place. I know I love it, but I'm about ready to give it all up and live in the desert.

More to come,

Man On The Can
